A movie night will be held on Saturday 13th June at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.
The “Dalfram Dispute” is the story of the Port Kembla Waterside Worker’s Union and their fight against loading ships with pig iron destined to Japan to become bullets and bombs, and the 1938 Minister of Trade, Bob Menzies, who became eternally known as “Pig Iron Bob”.
Supper will be served.

Celebration/Launch – Her War, is an exhibition about the women behind the patriotic push to support the British Empire in WW1. Objects used are re-examined for their power to persuade. Family letters and postcards often reveal the confusions and contradictions in the lives of families in small towns and villages in Wollondilly during and after this war.
The book Red Poppies and the White Waratah vividly describes the stories of our local heroines from original research.
